Friction Clamps are used when a scaffold is to be erected onto or around a tubular structure, like say a large pipe or round frame. They are secured using a chain which goes completely ronud the pipe and then around again, then connects back to the main block, a standard scaffold tube is then connected to the clamp and scaffolding is then erected in the normal way.Friction Clamps can fit pipes up to 1200mm in diameter. |
