Scaf-lok
We supply the two most commonly used system scaffold in the UK, Kwikstage and Scaf-lok ( which is a copy system of "Cuplok", designed by S.G.B.). Whilst each system is different, they are both based around a bay size of 8ft / 2.5m and 6ft / 1.8m with a width of 4ft / 1.3m.
Each system can be used in just about any application and is the safest option if you intend to erect the scaffolding yourself. |

Scaf-lok is a galvanised system that uses a "cup" and "blade" type arrangment to lock the various standards and ledgers together, the joints are locked using a twist action.
As mentioned above " Cuplok " is designed by S.G.B. and is now copied by many companies worldwide. The prices shown in our price list are for Scaf-lok, which is our copy system scaffold. However we can supply genuine S.G.B. products if required, quotations available on request.
Whilst the main " frame work " of the system remains the same, the deck level is available in two types. Standard scaffold boards ( 38mm thick )which are supported by Intermediate Transoms approx every 1.2m/4ft, and " Omega " Battens ( 63mm thick ) which are dropped into place between Omega Transoms with no need to support in-between ( basically the same system as kwikstage but galvanised ).

Scaf-lok is more expensive than Kwikstage, this is mainly due to being galvanised and holding its appearance/finish, whilst Kwikstage is painted when new, and becomes rusty when secondhand.
