Friction Clamps are used when a scaffold is to be erected onto or around a tubular structure, like say a large pipe or round frame. They are secured using a chain which goes completely ronud the pipe and then around again, then connects back to the main block, a standard scaffold tube is then connected to the clamp and scaffolding is then erected in the normal way. Friction Clamps can fit pipes up to 1200mm in diameter, we can supply longer chains if needed.
